Our own numbers

What 50+ builds have taught us.

We publish our own record, not a badge. Here is what we have delivered, and the patterns that repeat on almost every project: what turns a visit into an enquiry, and what quietly gets ignored.

Years building

Custom code, no page builders

The one-in-thirteen figure is the last two numbers divided: 170,000 visits and 13,200 enquiries. It is an average across different businesses in different markets, so treat it as a direction of travel, not a promise.

Four things that repeat

These are the lessons we have paid for across 50+ projects. They shape every build we start.

Speed decides more than polish

Across every project, the businesses that reply fastest win the most work. A beautiful site that sends enquiries into a shared inbox nobody watches loses to a plain site whose owner calls back in five minutes. This is why we build the reply into the system, not just the page.

A form is where interest goes to die

A blank contact box asks the visitor to do the work. A short set of questions does the opposite: it gives them somewhere to start, and by the time they finish they have already told you what they need. The difference shows up in the same traffic producing more enquiries.

Near-duplicate pages get discounted

We learned this one the hard way, on our own site. Pages that read like the same page with the town name swapped stop earning their place. The pages that recover are the ones with something true and specific on them, which is why every area page we write now says something only that area could say.

Proof beats adjectives

One named, checkable example outperforms any amount of "passionate about quality". Our flagship build, bbqpods.uk, took 12 hours to build and reached number one on Google in eight weeks. A real number from a real site is worth more than a paragraph of praise.

The one we point at

A real site, a real number, and you can check both.

bbqpods.uk was built in 12 hours and reached number one on Google for its main search within eight weeks. It sells a product people buy on impulse, from a phone, usually in the evening. The build was fast because the thinking was done first: what the visitor needs to see, in what order, and what happens the moment they ask.

You can look at it yourself at bbqpods.uk, or read the full breakdown on the case study.

Questions about our numbers

Where do these numbers come from?+
From our own delivery record across the projects we have built: the number of projects, the total visits those sites have received, and the total enquiries they have produced. The "1 in 13" figure is simple arithmetic on the last two: 170,000 visits and 13,200 enquiries. We show the working rather than asking you to trust a badge.
Can I see the client sites?+
Some we can show, and some we cannot, because clients are entitled to privacy and we do not publish their internal figures without written permission. bbqpods.uk is public and is a good example of how we build. If you want to see work closer to your own business, ask and we will show you the closest match.
Does this mean every site you build performs like this?+
No, and we would not pretend otherwise. Results depend on the market, the competition, how quickly enquiries are answered and how much the business invests after launch. What we can promise is the method: custom code, search built in from the start, a proper enquiry path, and honest reporting on what happened.
What do you actually measure after launch?+
Where the site appears in search for the terms that matter, how many people arrive, how many make an enquiry, and what happens to those enquiries afterwards. If something is not working, we would rather tell you and fix it than let you find out from a quiet month.
