Bespoke platforms
When off-the-shelf software cannot do what your business needs, we build the platform around it instead. Portals, bookings, payments, operations and the systems they connect to. Built to your specification, quoted in writing, owned by you.
Or email info@simpleday.co.uk and a rough document is fine.
Most businesses reach a point where the tools fight each other. The booking system does not talk to the accounts. The scheduling tool does not talk to the field staff. Someone re-types the same customer details into three places every week.
Three subscriptions, and none of them do the one thing you actually need. You bend the business around the software instead of the other way around.
Everything runs through whoever holds the passwords and the spreadsheets. When they are away, the business slows down.
No single view of customers, jobs, money or records. Decisions get made on a feeling, because the real picture would take a day to assemble.
One platform, shaped around your business, rather than a subscription you have to fit into.
Everyone gets their own login and sees only what they should. Customers track their own orders, bookings or documents. Staff and contractors get the jobs, checklists and records they need for the day.
Bookings, jobs, schedules, assets, maintenance, stock and records in one place, with rules that match how your business actually runs. No more spreadsheets emailed back and forth.
Customers choose a service, check they are covered, and pay. One-off payments, deposits and monthly plans, with the paperwork handled for you automatically.
Card payments, deposits, balances and the 50/50 stage payments we use ourselves. Money in and out is recorded against the job or the customer, so the accounts reconcile.
Payment providers, accounting, field-service and scheduling tools, messaging, document storage, and the hardware side: keyless entry, access control, CCTV and on-site energy. Where a connection is not possible, we agree a fallback before you commit.
Actions are logged, roles are locked down, and documents and renewals are tracked with dates and reminders. When someone asks who changed what and when, the answer is there.
Every platform is different, but the problems rhyme. Here are three real projects, described without naming the businesses, because their systems are theirs.
Property operations
A serviced-accommodation portfolio spread across multiple buildings. Guests arrive to a door that opens on the right day at the right time, without a key handover. Cleaners work from checklists on their phone, maintenance jobs are raised, approved and signed off, and every action is recorded. The platform sits above the buildings themselves and connects to keyless entry, CCTV and on-site energy systems, so the people using it never touch that hardware directly.
Bookings and subscriptions
A local service business selling recurring monthly plans. Customers check whether their address is covered, build their own package, and pay by card. The payment confirms the booking, records the customer and their details, and creates the job in the scheduling system the office already uses, with its own notification email so nothing is missed.
Portfolio and reporting
A property owner with tenancies, rents, deposits, compliance renewals and a long-term plan for the whole portfolio. One system holds the properties, the money, the documents and the deadlines, and presents the position clearly, so the owner and their successor can see exactly where everything stands.
Five steps, no surprises. You approve the proposal before any money changes hands and before any work starts.
Email us what the platform has to do. A rough document or an email is fine.
We ask anything unclear, then set out the scope, the stages and a written quote.
Nothing is built until you are happy with what has been described and quoted.
The deposit is payable and the build begins. You see working software as it comes together.
The balance is payable when the platform is finished and you are happy with it. You own it.
You do not need a technical document. Cover these five things and we will take it from there.
We design it, build it, connect it and host it. You deal with the person who wrote the code.
