What is a website?
To me a website is:
• A digital shop front
- Live 24/7
- Accessible from a myriad of devices. (phones, tablets, computers, laptops, smart televisions - even Virtual Reality now!).
- A digital statement of your brand, ideas, vision & services. (hack: make the pixels look really good even if you are not)
- A semi - permanent extension of your business in the digital ether.
Do you need one?
- Yes. (I'm biased)
Reason 1:
Presence (Mentally). The market (active & ever-present) will see you and accept you overtime.
Reason 2: Leads. A well implemented website will bring you business from the ever - present market passivley.
Reason 3: A website is the Keystone between all of your social media and online artefacts - Or at least should be. (Show off your own brand, not other companies). If something is free - you are the product.
